Rant about stuff!

Burning Blade

The mighty realm, that used to be the home of my paladin. Not anymore. I decided to make him pack his stuff, and move to the vast realm of Doomhammer, to explore and find out what adventures that awaits there.

Okay enough with that ancient talking stuff. I gave up holy, put on some pimping, shiny tanking armor, pressed "I", and tried tanking. I enjoyed it so much that now I am tanking as main spec. I just had my easter holidays and had a blast. My friend was staying at my house for several days and we had a lot of fun playing wow, watching "Watchmen" and talking Final Fantasy 13. He "helped" me farming my shiny new tanking gear, and getting started with different tanking stuff, since his main is a tank. DK though. Not paladin. But..

There is always trouble.. While he still was here, we ran a random heroic with another of my friends as the healer. My tanking skills are not that good yet, and they were a bit worse at that point, so we took it easy through the entire instance. Drak'Tharon Keep. Then right after Drek, some retard, didn't get to see who it was, decided to ninjapull a pack and the healer dies. I get the blame. I yell at the guy that yelled at me, and I am getting some crazy shit right back in my face. So I press the little fine "votekick" button.

Votekick failed

What? I turned around and asked what the hell my mate pressed. "No, he is a good dps y'know"

I understood that the healer guy pressed no, because he wouldn't care himself.

So we completed the instance without me saying a word, and I didn't taunt mobs away from the guys that overaggroed.. Acting like a little baby >_>

We complete the instance.

Nobody in my room says a thing for 20 mins. So I decided to break the ice, by saying:
"Yeah we both know what you would have done if he talked shit like that to you. I remembered me and that healer we had here, when you tanked an instance on your DK, we talked shit about your crap tanking at that point, and you wiped us 3 or 4 times because of it. Why do you make a difference?"

He didn't really respond, and left after 10 mins, even though we agreed that he first should leave later that evening.

Then there was drama in my guild with the huge ego guild master treating the guild like we all were his slaves and minions, so I left without saying a word, except to my friends.

A few days later my friend wants to run heroics again, I accept, and we get into Halls of Reflection, the biggest tanking nightmare. I ask the healer and dps to stand in the alcove, all into it, so we can wait till the ranged mobs get close, so I can get the aggro first. Sure. They go over there, but still stands a bit out in the room, so the ranged mobs aggro's the healer, and I have to taunt all the time. The healer sucked ass anyway, and it was even a druid O_o. (I have played 1 year as a healer, I know it's not always the healers fault that we wiped, and it weren't here, but he could have been better.) We wiped, and I start to say why we wiped, I complained a bit to my mate in my native language, the healer left, a dps left, and my mate tells me to stop "raging" and stop talking smack and get going. I left.

He was in there another hour after I left.

We haven't talked since.

Then I decided to migrate over to my newly found guild, and a good mate of mine on Doomhammer.
Fantastic server.

I got a hunter in level 73, that I really, really, really want to get to 80, but I am SO TIRED of Northrend quests, and pvp in Blackout battlegroup, so I decided to do a random dungeon.

ARGHARGHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGr

The tank didn't keep the aggro (I kept my eyes on Omen, and I wasn't overaggroing, but something went wrong O_o) and the healer didn't throw a single heal, so I left right away.

I'm gonna send my lil' hunter over to Defias Brotherhood, and hopefully my fellow blogger, Ari, won't mind doing some heroics, when I hit 80 or something.

I started on Burning Blade, truly believeing (... Yeah I know something is wrong with that word) that I only belonged there, but now I am slowly going away with my characters. I feel backstabbed for I know that my friend only used me to get instant queues on his dps chicken, and some free cola, while our common healer friend, (his roomate) had his gf over or something.

Yeah pugs can be the pure shit, but I really can't believe he backstabbed my in a silly situation like that. BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT A NEW DPS IS HARD TO GET?

Sigh. It's just a game I know, but it's real people that we are playing with.

I found out that there are so many ways to enjoy this game without the gear circus. My friend, Daldara, that haven't hit the level cap yet, and I ran around Orgrimmar for an hour, playing "Easter hide and seek", where she would turn me into a rabbit, if I didn't get out of line of sight fast enough, and I would lose if I got turned into a rabbit. :D

I lost
